Hi,
I am trying to configure printer HP4M connected to our LAN on
DECAlpha8200 with Digital Unix 4.0b.

etc/printcap is as follows:

raw2|raw2.anl.luth.se:|post:\
        :af=/usr/adm/lpacct:\
        :lf=/usr/adm/lperr:\
        :lp=/bin/lp:\
        :if=/usr/lbin/hplaser4psof:\
        :lf=/usr/adm/lperr:\
        :rp=text:\
        :rw:\
        :rm=raw2.anl.luth.se:\
        :ct=tcp:\
        :mx#0:\
        :of=/usr/lbin/hplaser4psof:\
        :pl#66:\
        :pw#80:\
        :sd=/usr/spool/lpd:\
        :sh:\
        :xf=/usr/lbin/xf:

I got many deamos started as it is indicated by the output from
lpc status (one part).

Obviously I have mixup lot of things, but what I would like to achive
is to print plaintext and if it possible ps.file in the same spooling
queue.

Very grateful to those who can clear up /etc/printcap.
