for sending to me suggestions on printcap to installed HP4M
Following printcap works well to print text file:
raw2:\
:lp=:\
:rm=raw2:\
:rp=text:\
:lf=/usr/spool/lpd/raw2.log:\
:sd=/usr/spool/lpd/raw2:
But I cannot print postscript file with following printcap:
raw2:\
:lp=:\
:rm=raw2:\
:rp=raw:\
:lf=/usr/spool/lpd/raw2.log:\
:sd=/usr/spool/lpd/raw2:
The file is passed to queue but nothing come up on printer.
Even my old printcap (used without any problems earlier) for remote printing
via Sun (Solaris OS) does not work in a same way. It works in opposite way,
which means that one can print text.file but not ps.file on the printer.
Has anyone any ideas what else influence printing ?
