I have the following question regarding a upgrade we plan to do.
Our current setup is as follows:
1. Digital Alpha 2100 Server (x2)
2. Digital Unix ver. 3.2
3. Oracle ver. 7.1.3
4. Sql*Net ver. 1.2.7.8.1
5. External StarageWorks BA35x (x2)
We want to use the above hardware and software to upgrade to a "Digital Unix Tru Cluster Available Server" setup. We will replace the "External Starageworks Cabinets" with a "SW 300 Expansion Cabinet" and a "HSZ 40 Controller".
Can we use the software versions of Unix and Oracle to do this upgrade or do we need to upgrade the software as well.
Your suggestions will be appreciated.
