dupatch problems with RIS

        I've configured a RIS server running DU 4.0B using
        the new "clone" feature. Everything works fine except
        for the patch installation. The remote patch directory
        mounts to the clients and setld installs the dupatch
        utility however the dupatch script expects the system to
        be in single user mode and it also expects the patches to
             be on a local filesystem, not mounted via the network.
        Dupatch has an option to specify an alternative root path
        however this does not fix the problem.

        I have not seen any documentation that addresses patch
        installations via RIS cloning.

        Any Suggestions!
