Hi DU Admins
I asked about a problem booting a VXT2000+ X terminal after
upgrading the bootp server from 3.2g to 4.0b.
I got one reply from Robert L. McMillin (thanks Robert) who said:

That wasn't the problem in this case.
Not long after I sent my question I realized what the problem
was. The error message I was getting from syslog was this:
joind[20999]: refused connect from 0.0.0.0
This wasn't coming from joind at all but from tcpd. Bootp was
launched from inted.conf through tcp wrappers and the upgrade
installation just substitited joind for bootp in inetd.conf.
Once I changed the joind entry to not use tcpd everything worked
perfectly.
