NIS Master on ASE

     Hi,
     
     Some of our customers want to run NIS and Enhanced Security. As you
     may know, each login and logout updates the prpasswd table. If the NIS
     master is unavailable, this is of course a problem.
     
     I therefore intend to make an ASE/NIS master service.
     
     1) Anyone tried that before ?
     
     2) Any opinions on the subject ?
        I am interested in opinions whether it is possible to move around
        with /var/yp --- and having the master server run on an alias
        adress.
