ALPHA 1000 4/200
DU 4.0B

Just completed an upgrade from 21040-AA cards to Fast 10/100 21140-AA
cards.

Do I need to rebuild the Kernal? All is working fine so I assume I do
not.

When I tried to switch to FAST mode >>>set ewa0_mode Fast it seemed to
work, but came up 'no link'. So I went back to just Twisted-Pair. Now I
have not setup the 100TX switch/hub yet, so the Alpha would be the only
100Base thing on the network, but isn't the card 10/100 Auto Negotiate,
like the hub/switch? Or do I need to shutdown and set to Fast once I get
the 100 TX Hub/switch up and running?

Also whats the difference between FASTFD (Full Duplex) and FAST? (What is
Full Duplex anyway?)

These are the questions of the night.... Any help is always appreciated.
