FYI - improved lsof for systems with AdvFS

Vic Abell has made some modifications (suggested by me!)
to lsof that significantly increases the number of
pathnames that lsof is able to find for files in
AdvFS file systems. On my system, the changes reduced
the number of unfound pathnames from 243 to 1
in my (one) testcase.

You can find this new version at
  ftp://vic.cc.purdue.edu/pub/tools/unix/lsof/NEW/lsof_4.20D.du.tar.gz
[Although the 'D' in lsof_4.20D may get incremented as Vic
generates new versions of lsof.]

The Configure program is written to only use these
changes on Digital Unix V4.0 and greater. Perhaps
they would work on a 3.? system, but we didn't have
one around to test this theory. If you want to try
it, look in Configure for the test
    if test $LSOF_VERS -ge 40000 -a $LSOF_ADVFSV -ge 400
and modify it for your system.
