Many thanks to Mr. Herman Meijer (unix_at_serv.optiebeurs.nl), he pointed
out that there are some patches for ASE 1.3, whose codes are as follows:

On the other hand, his opinion is that we have not to be worried or
expect unwanted responses or a server crash, since they have been
working with it several weeks. Actually, we have around two weeks
working with this configuration and filling up /var/adm/syslog.dated,
with no other problems than the logs itself.
We`ll try to get the patches from DEC. If any of you knows of a site
where we can get them from, we`ll appreciate your help.
