auth helper in DCE/DFS?

Hi folks,

Does anybody know the error message:

dfs: auth helper not running ; running unauthenticate

I run DCE/DFS on DEC Alpha 2100 and 255/233 with DU 4.0a and got
sometimes that message. The DCE/DFS
hangs sometimes, if I saw that message.

Is there anyone out there who could give me some hints?
