outgoing aliases with sendmail.

Is there any way with sendmail to change the from:/reply to: fields.

What I want to be able to do is setup sendmail for bulk emails

I would have the person(s), send email with an attached file of
recipients
to our system (the subject would pass thru for the outgoing subject).
The email body (less the attachment) would be the outgoing email).

I would like to be able to set the user name to be another user name
going out. Right now, my only choice is to create an account by that
name
then have that account name send the mail. Of course if we only wanted
one
outgoing username, this wouldn't pose a major problem, but I would like
to
have the from:/reply to: to be the email address of the person who sent
the
original email (from another domain, which on all outgoing email our
domain
name changes to the relay domain), or to a generic email (ie.
complaints,
ads1, etc..)

we are using sendmail currently. My first thought was to create a script
for
each outgoing piece of mail, and use telnet to port 25 of our relay to
build
each outgoing email. But occaisionaly, the relay time's out and that
trashes
the telnet idea.

I've looked through the sendmail book and can't find anything based on
the
index and randomly flipping thought the alias sections.

What I'm looking for is a command line switch to change the from
username,
the domain will remail the same.

Thanx
