Hi All ,
        I have two systems a 2100 and 4100 both running V4.0B
with Patch 4 .
Each one has two remote printers set up which print to a Sun box .
Each printcap file is exactly the same .

When I print from the 4100 , everything is fine , but when I print
from the 2100 , the printout comes out but the user is always sent
the following E-Mail .

Your request ds-3 destined for ds

The job title was: printest
   submitted from: oberon.ucc.usyd.edu.au
               at: Fri Nov 14 15:54:28 1997

encountered an error while printing on printer ds.

Reason for failure:

UX:lp: WARNING: unrecognized "-o flist='" option
TO FIX: check the option, resubmit if necessary
            printing continues
UX:lp: WARNING: unrecognized "-o printest:67" option
TO FIX: check the option, resubmit if necessary
            printing continues
UX:lp: WARNING: unrecognized "-o '" option
TO FIX: check the option, resubmit if necessary
            printing continues

It is the same with the command lpr -Pds printest or lp -dds printest

The printcap is : (on both machines)
lp1|1|lp|ds:\
        :lf=/usr/adm/lp1err:\
        :lp=:\
        :rm=sunnyboy:\
        :rp=ds:\
        :sd=/usr/spool/lpd1:

I have reconfigured the printers several times. There is no alias
for lp etc. I am sure this is something so simple that I cant
see the side of the barn 'cause of the trees ( or something like that)

I have remoted the 2100 to the 4100 which remotes to the sun , and
that works Ok , but if you know whats causing the above problem I
would really appreciate the enlightment.

Thanking you ,
