I'm trying to run the /usr/sbin/checklist utility and having problems. If
I start the X server on My PC, telnet in and run checklist (after setting
DISPLAY) I get a Bad file: No such file or directory error.
So, I tried setting up CDE as a xdm server login. I set my Xserver on my
PC to use XDMCP and was able to get a login screen. I logged in as root.
But the checklist (and some other utilities) do not work. In the errorlog,
I get entries like the following:
11/21/97 10:40:03 (/usr/dt/bin/dtexec) /usr/sbin/dop
Bad file: No such file or directory
Both these files exist.
-r-xr-xr-x 1 bin bin 32768 Nov 16 1996 /usr/dt/bin/dtexec
-rws--x--x 1 root bin 40960 Mar 15 1997 /usr/sbin/dop
I did put a patch in for dop a while back. Could that patch be the
problem? I'm running DU4.0b. (I also put in the level 4 jumbo patch.)
Any ideas what may be the problem?
