Trivial Alphastation 500 console question

I have a minor annoyance with my Alphastation 500, which doesn't appear
to cause any real problem, but I would like to fix it anyway if
possible.

When the system powers up, or is reset, the console reports this error:

(firmware version 6.4-3)
bad value - valid selections:
        ON
        OFF
bad value - mopv3_boot not modified
Maverick startup
>>>

I'm not exactly sure when this started appearing - I imagine perhaps
some NVRAM usage changed after a firmware update. The value of
mopv3_boot is "OFF", so I can't imagine what the message is referring
to.

Is there any way to clear the error?
