Hello managers,

Could anyone tell me the format for the advfs /var/opt/adfvsd/disks.ignore
file?
Is it the just the raw devices like:

/dev/rrz10
/dev/rrz11

or the block devices:

/dev/rz10c
/dev/rz11c

Is any other information required in the file?

Is there any mention of this in any manuals or man pages? I have been unable
to locate anything other than references to it.

Thanks in advance

The format for /var/opt/advfsd/disks.ignore is:

rz100
rz101
etc....

Just the device, no /dev/ required. The file has to be created. It is not
there by default. The GUI must be refreshed or restarted to reflect the
changes.

I am running TruCluster but do not see the necessity to have the start/stop
scripts reove and add the disks to disks.ignore. I will do that manually if
the need arises to change the advfs domains.

Any comments on this aspect?
