Printer filter parameters

Hi,

I'd like to execute something like this:

cat file | printer_filter options | lpr -Premote_queue,

but i don't know how to pass options to the filter, for instance the number of lines per page.

Is there a rule for the filters flags ?
Does somebody know these flags ?
