"Incremental" backup between disks

It is only a trivial question, but I am not very experienced with
Unix, and therefore before I start experimenting with vdump ...

I have a system with Unix V3.2. A long time ago I transfered it to
a spare disk and upgraded this to V4.0. But I didn't use it and was
running the V3.2 further on.

Now I want to change to the new V4 system. What is the easiest way
to make a kind of an "incremental" backup (as I would do in VMS) to
get all the newer/changed stuff from the V3.2 disk to the V4.0
disk?

Situation is:
root_domain#root on / V3
new_root#root on /r5a V4
user_domain#user on /usr V3
new_user#user on /r5d V4

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks and regards

Otto
