Software Subsets have gone missing.

My system (osf3.2) seems to have lost its record of the subsets that I've
installed. I went to install the C2 components, and received a msg. that
OSFBASE320 was not installed. It is. Doing a setld -i shows only 5
installed subsets when there should be in the region of 25'ish.

I was planning an upgrade in the near future (to 3.2g), but I am now
concerned that having lost track of what subsets I've installed the
upgrade could fail/go wrong.

Should I go and reinstall the missing subsets as if they were not
installed prior to updating, or is it safe to attempt an upgrade anyway,
or is there another track I should follow?

What could have caused the system to lose track of what I've installed?

Any thoughts/comments appreciated.

Thanks,

Bob
