HELP : OLD POPD AND NEWER SENDMAIL

I am using DU 3.2c and the popd that is bundled with it
However I have setup a newer sendmail than the one that is bundled
with 3.2c how do I rewrite a rule to make understand it should deliver
mail locally to user_at_pop ? like the popd from DU 3.2c wants it ?
