We have had mtools working for several years on our Ultrix DECstation boxes
with great success.
Recently we purchased an AlphaStation 400 and I was happy to see that Mtools
version 3.0 was included with DU4.0.
However the device name for the AlphaStation's drive is rfd0a and rfd0c.
These devices do not appear to be SCSI devices and are apparently not
supported by Mtools.
My 2 part question is:
a) Can mtools be made to work with the rfd0a, rfd0c devices.
b) if not, can the device be added to the SCSI bus and recognized that way.
