KZPSA on DU 4.0?

I'm trying to get my DU 4.0 machine to see my newly-installed KZPSA
adapter. What kernel magic do I need? I've tried pretending it's just
another card:

        bus psiop1 at pci0 slot 13 vector psiopintr
        controller scsi1 at psiop1 slot 0

but the OS doesn't report the device on reboot (no disks attached yet -
does that make a difference?).

The machine itsef _does_ see the card (via "show device")...
