HELP! Urgent jukebox problem!

Hi, managers!

I've been running DECnsr 3.1A on my AS2100 with an ADIC 1200 jukebox for
almost 2 years now, no problem. A week ago I decided to finally upgreade
to 4.2A. Even the upgrade and the following week's backups went fine.

Today when I inserted new (not recycled as last week...) I suddenly got a
strange error message:
SJI Failure [0x 29]: Invalid argument

So I started investigating. Noticed that I was running an outdated version
of the Medai changer driver (2.1) so I upgraded to 3.1. No change.

I removed the jukebox, added it again (both as an autodetected and as an
SJI jukebox, either as the ADIC-1200c/ADIC-1200d (as it is) or as 'other'.
No difference. In a few cases I've also got the 'device busy' error.
Booting the machine, resetting all devices etc - no change.

When starting a label session, I get the error "Not Ready, Logical Unit
Not Ready, Initialization Command Required".

On the other hand, I don't think the changer is broken. When this started,
it loaded the first tape, the drive noted the tape was empty and then I
got the error message. So I did an unload and retried this procedure. Same
problem.

I'd appreciate any help....

Some specs:
DU 3.2c, Media changer version 3.1, networker 4.2a-09/12
changer: ADIC DAT Autochanger, fw 0360. (12 slots)
