Hi all,
I have a problem using restore :
I made my backup using :
rsh crnal9 /usr/sbin/rdump -0f crnal4:/dev/nrmt1h /usr
rsh crnal9 /usr/sbin/rdump -0f crnal4:/dev/nrmt1h /disk1
/usr/bin/mt -f /dev/rmt1h weof
So I want to restore a file located in /disk1/u/util/perco. I do :
mt -f /dev/rmt1h rewind
mt -f /dev/nrmt1h fsf
restore -i -f /dev/nrmt1h
cd u/util/perco.
When I type ls, I can obviously see the files I want to restore
but when I type extract, I get the message :
You have not read any tapes yet
Unless you know which volume your file(s) are on you should start
with the last volume and work towards the first.
Specify next volume #
Did I miss something ??
TIA
Jean
