Ever since I got my DEC3000/700, the message "couldn't open console"
has appeared on dxconsole every time I start a Decwindows session.
This doesn't happen on two other machines (Alphastations) with
the same configuration as far as I can tell and the same version of the OS.
(v3.2c). Any ideas of what is trying to open the console and why
it can't do it would be much appreciated.
