Q about TLZ09 tape drive

I've been using 90m tape for our TLZ06 tape drives, with a rated capacity of
~2GB (compressed). I will soon be receiving a TLZ09, which is rated at
4/8GB. Do I need to order longer tape to take advantage of the extra
capacity, or does the drive write at a higher density somehow? I couldn't
find any references to this anywhere in my searches of the Web/Usenet.

Any other suggestions/gotchas appreciated.
