Using more than 128MB RAM

Dear managers,

We use the FEM-Software FIDAP on a DEC Alpha 600 5/266 running DU
3.2c.
After upgrading the system memory from 64 MB to 320 MB the program
can only allocate 128 MB of RAM (swap space is 128 + 400 = 528 MB).

Are there any restrictions concerning the amount of memory each user
can use? Another idea is a problem with compiler settings (FIDAP uses
FORTRAN77).

Any hints?
Thanks for your replies
Wolfgang Henkel
