Greetings,

Apparently, there is no easy way to mailx to send MIME attachments using mailx,
you have to use something a bit cleverer...

Obviously, there are a plethora of solutions; I praise what was offered were
suggested:

Mutt <URL:http://www.cs.hmc.edu/~me/mutt/> (requires gcurses or S-Lang)
elm ???
exmh <URL: http://www.smli.com/~bwelch/exmh/index.html> (requires tcl/tk)
mpack ftp://archie.au/amiga/misc/unix/mpack-1.5.tar.gz
pine ???

The least tedious to source turned out to be: Mutt 0.59.1e
As you may have noticed, this is what I eventually installed...
(I had to link it to S-Lang libraries Ver. 0.99-38)
