Hello,
Today I've built an new kernel with doconfig (the menu and not doconfig
-c) and additionally upgraded to a new firmware. Now scu says the
following for my tape:
# scu -f /dev/rmt0h
Warning: Inquiry (C1533A) and system (TZRDAT) device names are different.
and so does
# file /dev/rmt0h
/dev/rmt0h: character special (9/5122) SCSI #0 TZRDAT tape #1 (SCSI ID
#5) (SCSI LUN #0) errors = 0/1 offline
Previously SCU did not say this warning and the "file" command reported
the right (C1533A) device name.
Question: What can cause this and how can I revert to the previous, proper
behaviour.
Thanks -- Tom
