Had problems while upgrading an AlphaStation 200 4/233 from v3.2C to v4.0,
it couldn't reboot to configure the system. Original posting is at the end
of this summary.
Thanks to Olle Eriksson <olle_at_cb.uu.se> for pointing me in the right
direction, and John Dyer (DEC engineer) for coming up with the solution.
When the system crashes back to the chevron prompt just do the following:
>>> isacfg -init
>>> init
and then reboot with the generic kernel to carry on with the installupdate
procedure.
Thanks again,
John.
