My thanks go to :

Dick Joltes <joltes_at_husc.harvard.edu> and to Daniel Clar
<Daniel.Clar_at_supelec.fr>

My problem seems to be that LAT is too sensitive to network load and
timing issues (maybe someone out there knows how I can tune LAT on
Digital UNIX). Right now I am contemplating setting up telnet listeners
on the Terminal Servers and using a tcp/ip capable lpd that I found
recently. Then at least my printing services should be on the same set
of protocols as the rest of my network.
