Hi,

I am looking for any experience of backups on the new generation of
Exabyte devices named Mammoth (EXB8900) from Dunix.
I am interested in a solution including 2 Mammoth readers into a 10+1
rack, providing 230 to 460 Gbytes of "on-line" backups, with a nominal
transfer rate of 3Mbytes/sec, so at least on the paper, better than a
DLT4000 based system.
Exb8900 devices are not included in Dunix 4.0 spds, and Digital Services
have no record on this in their databases.

If you have already connected such a device behind your Alphas, please
let me know your comments on the device itself, and what were the lines
to be included in /usr/sys/data/cam_data.c for the EXB8900 to be
recognized and correctly driven
