PRIORITIZE THE PROCESSES!!

     Hello all!
     
     We are running Digital Unix 3.2G on a DEC Alpha 2100. I was wondering
     how does Digital Unix and DEC prioritize multiple processes running on
     the system. (For example: If we are running 5 processes on the system.
     How is the processing power divided among these processes)
     
     Any help will be appreciated!!
