Alpha-Managers,

I am attempting to get used to write on a digital unix box. However,
it has very weird behaviors.

These include beeping when you write to somebody, telling you of all their
logins even if all but one have mesg n and telling you permission is denied
writing to somebody when they have multiple logins, with one with mesg y, but
it is not the most idle.

I have been trying to get bsd 8.1 write to compile and am having problems
because snprintf seems to be lacking. Does anybody know how to solve these
problems?

I will summarize.

Thanks,
-Pete
