LAT, CAM kernel options

Hi,
   I have just upgraded to 3.2g from 3.2b. Now when I recompile
the kernel the doconfig command gives the following options;

*** KERNEL OPTION SELECTION ***

    Selection Kernel Option
--------------------------------------------------------------
        1 System V Devices
        2 Kernel Breakpoint Debugger (KDEBUG)
        3 Packetfilter driver (PACKETFILTER)
        4 STREAMS pckt module (PCKT)
        5 X/Open Transport Interface (XTISO, TIMOD, TIRDWR)
        6 File on File File System (FFM)
        7 ISO 9660 Compact Disc File System (CDFS)
        8 Audit Subsystem
        9 All of the above
        10 None of the above
        11 Help

Previously the system gave options LAT, LVM, DLPI these options now seem to be
rolled into the kernel.(eg)

options DLI
options LAT
options DLB
pseudo-device lv 2

Is this correct?

The reason I ask is a strange one. My backups(dump) fail(lots of media and CAM errors)
and I notice that everytime I boot I get;

<snip>

Feb 15 17:34:42 redgum vmunix: ss_device_reset_done
Feb 15 17:34:42 redgum vmunix: Bus device reset has been performed
<snip>

I have replaced the tape drive at target 5(and tapes), and this has made no difference
to the error(I haven't tested the backups yet)

The thing is when I boot to the generic kernel I DON"T get the error. I also
noticed that genvmunix doesn't include "options LAT".

I don't need LAT (or LVM or DLPI) so I'm considering removing them to see if
the error goes away( although I can't see how LAT could effect the CAM system).
What do you think?
