Majordomo and 'approve'...

I have majordomo working on my 3.2C box with version 1.95 and Perl 5.003,
however, the 'approve' script fails on attempted approval of a posting to
a moderated list with 'can't find password list for <listname>'. The
passwd for administering the list is in place and working. A 'manual'
approval via editing the mail, including a header 'Approved: <passwd>'
works fine. I can't find *any* documentation describing where the approve
script looks for the password list for the list itself. I do have a
.majordomo file in my home directory with the passwd contained as per
instructions, and trace shows that the approve script is opening and
reading it. I have to assume that it can't find the passwd within the
list.config file to match against. Any ideas?
