named/mail problem

Our Digital Unix 3.2c box can not send mail to ibm.net at certain times. We
have to stop and start named to fix the problem. But within a day or two the
problem comes back.

We've dumped the named cache when the system's working and when it's not
working. The results are shown below.

Does anyone have a suggestion on how to narrow in on what this problem is?

Thanks,
Jon
