Display Postscript problem

Hello,

I'm trying to run Adobe Illustrator 5.5 from our Sun
to my DU 4.0b w/ PowerStorm 4D20 + Open3D desktop.

I does work, but is messes the colors strangely.
Illustrator draws the screen with Display Postscript,
so I assume the problem is DPS related. (Motif menus
work just fine)

My initial assumption is that the problem has
something to do with endianess. (Colors seem to change places)

Does anybody know any trick to fix that?

One possible workaround could be to make the Sun think that
my display is 8bit.. (Is this possible? I don't think Illustrator
let change the visual.)

Or, is it possible to start X as 8bit?

Thanks,
HS
