Hello!
We have a DEC Alpha 2100 running Digital Unix3.2G. We bought ROBOTICS
modems to be configured with the systems. We run the uucp script to
configure the modem.
The script places an entry in the inittab file... We usually endup
calling the support to set the switches on the modem and other
problems which are probably due to an incompatible modem.
Does anyone suggest any DEC compatible modems which are easy to setup
or any other suggestions? What do you think about DEC ModemV32? What
is the part number?
Any help will be appreciated?
