RAID Controller cache memory

Hi All,

We just recently purchased a RAID Array 230 controller for our
Alphastation 250/266, along with 512 MB of memory. Since we had to
remove the 256MB that was in 250/266, we have 8 32MB SIMMs and we
were wondering if they would work as cache for the RAID controller.
Just putting one of the 32MB SIMMs in the controller seems to work OK,
but we are concerned that perhaps there could be some subtle problems
later on.
