maxdsiz/user processes

We are getting an error from Oracle that is indicating that maxdsiz is set
too small.

The kernel level setting for this is 1 GB. When I look at the user size
using the csh limit command, I see 256K (or so). I know I can change this
to unlimited in the csh, but how can I do it at a system level?

Thanks much!
