Problem: How to make an alpha 3300 XL to rscognize a turbo channel nic
card.
Answer:
1. cp /genvmunix /vmunix
2. shutdown -h
3. As root, issue the command "doconfig" and build a new kernel
4. cp the new kernel to /
4. reboot the machine
5. issue the command "netsetup" and configure the nerw device ln1
thats it.
