Hi,
Would you please help me on the following matter.

I am running Solaris 2.6 and 2.5.1 on X86 platform.
I need some important log files in /tmp directory, but problem is that when i boot the system i lose everything in /tmp directory.

I already go through the man pages of tmpfs which shows the characteristics that /tmp under tmpfs would be cleared at boot time.

My question is that
1. Can i any how preserve some files on /tmp direstory -that is one option.
2. If not then i have to move those important log files in another directory.

my /etc/vfstab is like that

swap - /tmp tmpfs - yes -

Please help me regarding this Subject. Thanks for your time.
