First off I'd like to thank John Bradley, Shlomo Hakim, and Ray Trzaska,
who put me on the right track.

Answer:

latcp -A -plat/624 -Hserver -Vmodem -RPORT_3 -O

Two notes here. 1. "server" is case sensitive. 2. -O is needed. This
disables queueing on the service.

Howdy all,

I just received a Emulex P2500 [LAT/TCPIP] Terminal Server.

I was wondering if, via LAT, it's possible to associate
a DU4's lat tty to a LAT device on a terminal server. Specifically,
I want to set it up so that whenever I tip to /dev/lat/630 I connect
to a modem connected to a terminal server via LAT. The modem is connected
via rs232 on port 3 of the terminal server.

I have the modem configured as a LAT service, and can access it
via a connect MODEM (after telnetting to the terminal server).
This part is working fine, however I'm new to using LAT, and the
documentation seems to suggest that I can use latcp to associate
that modem (on the TS) to /dev/lat/???.

I was wondering if this is possible at all, or am I dreaming?

Thanks in advance.. I'll post a summary
