LSM and mirroring

I'm curious about LSM. Please correct me if I am wrong, but isn't it
possible to use LSM to mirror everything, including /, and swap?

Assuming they are mirrored with LSM, can the system stay up and
running if someone removes half of the mirror which holds / and swap
by physically pulling the disk out of its shelf?
