Hello all!
I'm trying to install a terminal emulator on a pc (well, actually a pc
running NT for testing purposes) to connect to our two DEC ALPHA servers
running DEC UNIX 4.0B, and I can connect to one Alpha just fine. However,
once I try to connect to the other host, it appears that I'm going to be
able to get logged on, but I receive a message that says "Terminal Control
Information Suddenly Vanished" and then I'm back at the log in screen. I
have made entries in the /etc/hosts, /etc/auth/system/ttys, and the
/etc/auth/system/devassign files, and here are the entries that I have made:
/etc/hosts
192.168.1.92 mem_ora_nt1.mem-ins.com mem_ora_nt1
/etc/auth/system/ttys
mem_ora_nt1\:0.0|mem_ora_nt1\:0:t_devname=local\:0:t_xdisplay:t_login_timeou
t#0:chkent:
/etc/auth/system/devassign
mem_ora_nt1\:0:v_devs=mem_ora_nt1\:0,mem_ora_nt1.mem-ins.com\:0,192.168.1.92
\:0:v_type=xdisplay:chkent:
Can anyone help me figure out what I'm missing?
Thanks!
