A couple of days ago I posted a question regarding a system crash
associated with a ZLXp-L2 graphics accelerator.
As the responses reminded me about these cards approaching "end of
life", where they may no longer be supported, I thought I would ask
about what this means exactly.
If the cards are no longer officially supported by the Open3D group,
does that leave them in any kind of working condition, following future
OS upgrades (thinking of 4.0E, and possibly 5.0, though I appreciate it
may be hard to answer this)?
To be honest, I don't much care about 3D support as such, but I
*would* miss having 24-bit color - so any form of minimal support for X
on these cards in future would be a good thing.
