Question : Is there a 1 line command that lists down all the
hardware configured
on a Digital Unix box ?
It seems that there is not a command that does this as
completely and easily
as I would like, but there are several ways to get the
results.
        - sizer -n
        - dia -R osf=300 |more (for this you need DECEVENT installed)_
        - There is a program called sys_check which, among other things,
lists down
the hardware and software on your system. This program can be
downloaded
          from
ftp://ftp.digital.com/pub/DEC/IAS/sys_check/sys_check.html
        - scu show edt. This will only list certain devices.
        - shutdown your system, and do a "show config" and "show device"
              at the console prompt.
