Hallo all,

thanks to all for their responses. The only thing I want to say - this
IS the best user support group I ever saw and ever will want to see. I'm
glad to be a part of you. And this is not only because you saved my butt ;-)
Anyway here it goes:

 Spalding, Stephen
 Ian Goodacre
 Mathew Huff
 Nestor Ruiz
 Michael Matthew
 Hana Breyer Prisetac
 Richard Sharpe
 Marie-Claude Vialatte
 Stefan Heim
 Andy Walden
 and more...

Since the DU boxes are not connected to the internet just to an internal WAN
througout the country I did the following:

- flushed the routes with route flush
- then added the default one route add default routerip
- and for the fun even restarted the routed with
   /sbin/init.d/route stop ; sleep 5 ; /sbin/init.d/route start
- if any problems occur I'll try to delete the specific route with
route delete -host lostoneip routerip and it shoud find it's route alone
then
