SUMMARY: OSF 3.2g dump says the tape has -39000 feet left

Thanks to all those who replied. Apparently `dump` bases it's estimate of
how many more feet are left on the tape on the amount of data that it
writes to the tape.
It's expecting to only be able to write 4 gb, so when it ends up writing 7
gb without running out of tape, it naturally assumes you've got a negative
amount of tape left!
