I'm trying to make an automatic process for installing patch kits, the way
I'm going to do this is with a script in single user mode that will detect
new patch kits, install them go to multi-user mode and build a kernel.

I've added the following to inittab:-

        patch:Ss:wait:/sbin/patchinstall

/sbin/patchinstall is a script (at the moment just a few echos) which
would do all the clever stuff....

This doesn't run however.

Any ideas?
